The Human Behind The Pixels

Hey there! I’m Jonathan Stephens, the 3D enthusiast behind Pixel Reconstruct. I started my career mapping the world in 2D as a GIS analyst. Having a vision for the future, I pivoted my career in 2013 to computer vision and 3D reconstruction. These days, I’m EveryPoint’s Chief Evangelist, which means I educate companies about computer vision technology and how it can solve their real-world problems.

What you won’t find on my professional bio is that I’m on a perpetual quest to find new ways to make pixels work harder. Whether it’s through radiance fields, 3D reconstruction, or the latest generative AI techniques, I’m constantly exploring ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible. This site is my digital playground—a place to share tutorials, insights, and the occasional “I broke everything but learned something cool” moment from my experiments.
